What are the rules for these logo signs in Texas?

• ​A business must offer at least one primary motorist service
• ​A business must be located no further than three miles from an eligible highway
• ​A business must have driveway access

​Additional Texas Requirement by Category

Food:

• Licensing or approval, where required
• ​Continuous operations to serve at least two meals per day, at least six days per week
• ​Seating capacity of at least 16 people

Gas:

• ​Provide vehicle service, including fuel, oil & water
• ​Continuous operations at least 12 hours per day, seven days per week
• Modern sanitary facilities and drinking water

​Lodging:

• Provide at least ten rooms
• ​Continuous operation at least ten hours per day, six days per week
• ​Licensing or approval, where required
• Adequate sleeping accommodations
• ​Public telephone and modern restrooms

​24-Hour Pharmacies:

• ​Continuous operations 24 hours per day, seven days per week
• ​A state-licensed pharmacist present and on duty at all times

​Lone Star Logos currently maintains and sells space on Texas road signs. Expect to pay between $900 and $3,250 per year for Mainlane Signs & between $150 and $750 per year for Ramp Signs.  Daily traffic count determines cost.
